The Relentless Automotive Development high flow downpipe is engineered specifically for the Ram RHO and HO platform to improve exhaust flow and reduce restriction while maintaining precise fitment and long term durability. It replaces the restrictive factory downpipe with a precision built 304 stainless steel assembly featuring a GESI 85200 high flow catalytic converter designed to support higher horsepower applications.
Each downpipe is TIG welded and fully back purged for consistent weld quality. OEM mounting locations are retained to ensure proper alignment and a true bolt on installation.
Optimized Flow and Thermal Management
This downpipe utilizes an optimized diameter configuration to maximize exhaust flow while maintaining proper gas velocity. It features 4 inch tubing with a gradual taper to 3.25 inch prior to the mid pipe connection, allowing efficient exhaust expansion while maintaining consistent flow characteristics. A 4.5 inch catalytic converter is used to minimize restriction through the catalyst before transitioning to the factory mid pipe.
Compared to the factory 3 inch downpipe, internal cross sectional area is increased by approximately 78 percent. This allows exhaust gases to exit the turbine more efficiently and reduces backpressure on the turbine side.
Thermal management is handled through a ceramic coating applied as standard to every downpipe, helping reduce radiant heat and manage under hood temperatures.
Dyno Tested Performance Results
Dyno testing shows consistent gains across the powerband compared to factory downpipes. Results below reflect rear wheel horsepower and rear wheel torque measured under the same conditions.
